Dietro la testiera del letto il vano scala.         Behind the headboard of the bed the stairwell.

La scala

Questo progetto richiedeva la realizzazione di una cassettiera nel vano sopra i locali servizi più scaffali vari, ma sopratutto di una scala comoda, sicura , e meno visibile possibile. La soluzione è stata quella di  una “quinta” dietro la testiera del letto e l’inserimento di una scala con gradini a pedata alternata che consente di ridurre lo spazio al minimo anche se obbliga ad usare sempre lo stesso passo sia nella salita che nella discesa. Un piccolo compromesso per la massima ottimizzazione. Il piano calpestio sopra l’armadio poggia su una struttura in metallo nascosta all’interno di quest’ultimo.

The stairs. This project required the construction of a chest of drawers in the compartment above the shelves several facilities, but also a convenient, safe, and less visible as possible. In questo spazio molto ristretto, praticamente uno sgabuzzino, ma con un soffitto molto alto, c’era la possibilità di costruire un soppalco per sfruttare al massimo la superficie, invece che nasconderlo si è pensato di evidenziarlo al massimo come se fossero due piani distinti, dotati di serramenti di tipologia differente. Il contrasto può creare armonia.

In questo piano mansardato nel centro storico di Torino la struttura portante in metallo unisce l’utilizzo massimo dello spazio e la spettacolarità nell’altezza, quasi 4 mt.

In this attic floor in the historic centre of Turin, the metal structure combines the maximum use of space and grandeur in the height, almost 4 meters.
